I have a confession to make. Even though I am Canadian, until this summer, I had never travelled west of Ontario in my home country. Never. It’s kind of shameful. I’ve travelled all over the US and the world, yet I had never set foot in the four provinces of the Canadian Prairies & West. I finally made my first trip to Vancouver in July (beautiful place, you should try it, lots of greenery), and thanks to D’Arcy Lussier and the Prairie DevCon, I finally made it to Saskatchewan, the setting of one of my favorite TV shows.
Prairie DevCon was a great event. I’m sure D’Arcy will hold another one in the future, so if you live in Saskatchewan, Alberta, Manitoba, BC, or just south of there in the US (MT, ND, SD, WY, ID), I highly recommend you look it up next time. The local community in Regina was very welcoming and I had a great time. I want to thank everyone who came to my mobile development talks and also to those who stopped by the Infragistics booth for a chat. As promised, I am linking all my session material from my talks:
