SQLSaturday #152 Bulgaria Event Recap and Follow-up

On September 29, 2012 Infragistics was host and sponsor the first conference in Bulgaria SQLSaturday.

What is SQL Saturday:

• SQL Saturday is a conference of PASS (Professional Association for SQL Server) www.sqlpass.org ,www.sqlsaturday.com

Infragistics as a company that develops solutions for data visualization and business solutions has many common points in with areas covered from the  conference: BI, Reporting, SQL Server related solutions

Preparation:

In the morning before the event:

The entire office layout was completely changed overnight from the work  environment to a nice conference layout.

• About 150 participants
• 21 presentations in 4 tracks: Development, DBA, BI and Windows Azure SQL Database & Personal Development
• 15 speakers from 6 countries: USA, UK, Austria, Denmark, Poland and Bulgaria

There is reserved date for SQLSaturday Bulgaria 2013 - 26 October 2013 with a host of Infragistics office in Sofia. I hope soon to have final approval for the conference.
